Expanded Stacks

Overview

Expanded Stacks is built on CMAPI's opt-in inventory-extension API. CMAPI itself never stacks items; this mod provides the slot policy that makes eligible resources share virtual slots.

The default stack size is 100. Plain resources and other stateless materials can stack in player backpacks and storage containers, while equipment, DNA, seeds, food, usable items, locked items, and items with custom state retain native one-item-per-slot behavior.

Every quantity remains a collection of normal Planet Crafter world-object IDs. Expanded Stacks does not replace items with custom quantity records or silently delete overflow.

Installation

1. Install CMAPI 1.1.4 or later for The Planet Crafter.
2. Extract Expanded Stacks into its own folder under <GameRoot>\CMAPI\Mods.
3. Launch the game through CMAPI and run `mods` to confirm the mod loaded.
4. Run `stacks` to review the active stack size and removal-safety status.

Multiplayer

• Every player must install the same Expanded Stacks version and use the same configuration.
• CMAPI reports the local session role but cannot verify remote mod lists.
• Mismatched multiplayer installations are unsupported.
